WORD OF THE DAY: “THANKSGIVING”
thanks·giv·ing/ˌTHaNGksˈgiviNG/
Noun: |
|
Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse. ~Henry Van Dyke
AFFIRMATION: Today I reflect on all that I am thankful for: family, friends, nourishment, shelter, air and life. A heart of THANKSGIVING is not to be celebrated or visited just one day of the year, but every day that life greets me. THANKSGIVING is universal. There is never a bad time to give gratitude—better shared than kept silent and hidden away.
