Grumpiness happens, so he said,

let it go and make a U-turn, instead;

head towards serenity instead of dread,

it frees up the heart and clears up the head.

Everybody experiences days that are bad;

some laugh it off and some crawl back in bed.

The remedy is not some short lived fad,

a cup full of Chi, some Om-ness, and a tad

of  gratitude will lead you back to glad.

While you sit there like a toad on a pad,

I’ll enjoy a dose of smile and laughter, my lad.
